Role Summary

Looking for an experienced QA Lead to lead a team of QA engineers while remaining hands-on with testing AI/GenAI applications. The role focuses on test automation, AI testing, team mentoring, quality strategy, and ensuring successful software releases.

Must-Have Skills

Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on Software Testing / QA experience
- 3+ years leading or managing a QA team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's is a plus)

Technical Skills

- Robust Python programming (5+ years)
- Experience with AI/GenAI testing
- Experience using GenAI tools for test case generation or QA activities
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as:
- Behave
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright

- Strong understanding of:

- SDLC
- Agile methodology
- QA best practices

- Experience with:

- API Testing
- Performance Testing (Locust or similar)

- CI/CD experience using:

- Git
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins

Leadership Skills

- Lead and mentor QA teams (3+ engineers)




- Develop QA strategy and testing processes
- Review test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
- Resource planning and workload management
- Drive quality improvements across projects
- Coordinate release testing and provide Go/No-Go recommendations

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Ability to collaborate with development and product teams
- Experience conducting root cause analysis for production issues

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience testing AI agents and AI-powered applications
- Experience managing test environments and test data strategies
- Experience working in Capital Markets or Financial Services
- Experience defining quality metrics and reporting dashboards
