VMware Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure Support

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support and manage VMware and Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) environments. The role involves handling escalations, ensuring high availability and performance, and planning infrastructure growth and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support converged and hyperconverged infrastructure , including provisioning, new deployments, capacity planning, and resource expansion

- Ensure maximum uptime and performance for SAN infrastructure and converged platforms

- Handle L3-level escalations from L2 teams and client escalations to ensure timely resolution

- Analyze monitoring outputs for storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCenter and recommend performance, security, and utilization improvements

- Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or additional hardware to meet capacity and performance requirements

- Perform advanced troubleshooting to maintain high system uptime and performance

- Coordinate with OEMs for hardware replacement, advanced troubleshooting,



firmware/code upgrades, etc.

- Execute day-to-day operational activities , including BMC ticket closures within SLA

- Collaborate with multiple technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues

- Plan and execute infrastructure changes and raise RFCs as per change management processes

- VMware : ESXi, vCenter

- Nutanix AHV

- Blade Servers and Fibre Interconnects

- Virtual Machine Networking

- SAN and converged infrastructure components

Certifications (Preferred)

- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

- VMware Certified Architect (VCA)

- VMware Certified Expert (VCIX)

Desired Skills

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Experience in enterprise data center environments

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability setting
