Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Linux Tower Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux Virtualization (OLVM/Oracle Hypervisor) to lead virtualization operations, support migrations, and ensure reliable and secure infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Linux tower, providing technical guidance and escalation support

- Administer and support Oracle Linux Hypervisor / Oracle Linux Virtualization environments

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot virtual networking on Oracle Hypervisor

- Prepare, maintain, and update architecture and infrastructure diagrams

- Support application and workload migration from Oracle Hypervisor to Cloud platforms

- Ensure availability, performance, and stability of Linux-based systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning and execution

- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities

- Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the Linux tower

Tools Technologies




- Oracle Linux Virtualization (OLVM)

- Oracle Hypervisor and Virtual Networking

- Linux Administration (Oracle Linux strong expertise)

- Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud

- Exposure to cloud migration methodologies and tools

Certifications (Preferred)
- Oracle Linux Virtualization Certification

- Oracle Hypervisor / Virtual Networking Certification

- Linux administration certifications (Oracle Linux preferred)

- Cloud fundamentals related to Oracle technologies (nice to have)

Desired Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Experience in enterprise virtualization environments

- Good documentation and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions
