Key responsibilities

- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet project goals, emphasizing quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain a reliable supply chain for transmission and distribution projects.
- Cost Control: Track procurement budgets, conduct cost analyses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Contract Management:



Draft and manage contracts while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and potential new suppliers to improve procurement choices.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with project, engineering, and operations teams to meet material requirements and align with project schedules.
- Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess supplier performance and initiate corrective actions to uphold quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A master s degree or certification in Procurement/Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in the electrical power transmission and distribution sector, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical materials and equipment used in transmission and distribution lines.
