- We are looking for a CAD Design Engineer to own the mechanical design of enclosures for our EV charging products from concept through production.
- You will drive design decisions, manage vendor handoffs, and mentor junior designers, building enclosures that are secure, weatherproof, and cost-effective for Indian outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Own 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for wall-mounted and pedestal charger enclosures (AC and DC), from concept to production release.
- Design sheet-metal, die-cast, and plastic parts brackets, mounting systems, cable entries, gun holsters, and panels applying DFM/DFA.
- Engineer for IP54/IP65 protection, thermal management, gasketing, and corrosion resistance for Indian climates.
- Release production-ready drawings with GD&T;, tolerance stack-ups, and BOMs; drive DFM reviews with vendors and resolve manufacturability issues.
- Plan prototype builds, fit checks, and validation testing; iterate on field and test feedback.
- Coordinate with electrical/PCB teams on component clearances, mounting, and cable routing.
- Drive cost-down and parts standardization across enclosure platforms; maintain version control and documentation; guide interns.
