Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Business Intelligence to design, develop, and maintain data analytics solutions by building ETL pipelines, optimizing SQL queries, and creating interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into scalable data solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

- Translate business needs to technical specifications

- Develop and execute complex database queries, Query performance tuning and optimization

- Design and deploy visualizations and reports for requested projects in analytics platforms

- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau etc)

- Write code to perform the ETL including data cleaning and enhancement

- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems

- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems

Requirements

- Knowledge of SQL queries, Data modeling and performance tuning, data analysis and integration

- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.

- Hands-on experience in BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)

- Familiarity with data warehouse, data mining and performance tuning (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake).





- Knowledge of programming languages like python/R to perform data transformation, cleaning and enhancement would be preferred.

- Knowledge of JavaScript charting libraries like D3.JS, High charts, Google Charts etc would be preferred

- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
