Role & responsibilities

- Review, evaluate, and approve detailed MEP drawings, schematics, and layouts (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Low Voltage/ELV systems) ensuring seamless alignment with architectural and Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs).
- Conduct thorough technical vetting of engineering layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), heat load calculations.
- Identify design discrepancies, space constraints, or services clashes early in the pre-construction phase and execute prompt resolutions.
- Provide strategic leadership to site execution teams, MEP engineers, and site supervisors, ensuring work complies strictly with approved shop drawings and quality manuals.
- Formulate comprehensive project master schedules for all MEP milestones and track site progress rigorously against timelines.
- Enforce structural safety codes, international engineering best practices, and stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) benchmarks across all live project sites.
- Oversee the performance of MEP contractors, specialized sub-vendors, and equipment suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.




- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising structural performance, design integrity, or material quality.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developers, and project management consultants (PMCs) regarding technical MEP updates, milestone progress, and engineering approvals.
- Oversee the preparation, technical verification, and submission of intermediate progress invoices, contract variations, and the final Full & Final billing closures for MEP works

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 5 to 15 years of progressive engineering and leadership experience, with a proven track record of handling high-end corporate interiors, commercial complexes, or premium fit-out projects.
- Robust hands-on familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or advanced MEP design coordination interfaces.
