Assistant Manager - Risk & Compliance
We are seeking an experienced Risk Assistant Manager to provide risk and compliance oversight, challenge, and support for our Delhi/Gurugram operations. Reporting to the UK Delhi Risk Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in embedding EUI's Risk Management Framework, driving risk maturity, strengthening controls, and ensuring outstanding customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Framework Implementation: Drive and embed EUIs operational risk framework, policies, and standards across local operations.
- Risk & Control Ownership: Lead Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), ensuring risks (Operational, Data, Conduct) and controls are clearly documented and outcome-focused.
- Stakeholder & Governance Engagement: Serve as a trusted risk partner to local leadership and UK stakeholders; prepare high-quality risk reporting for governance forums and committees.
- KRI & Incident Tracking: Develop and review Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), perform root cause analysis on risk events, and oversee control remediation.
- Team Leadership: Direct line management of a small team of risk professionalsproviding coaching, mentoring, and capability building.
- Customer & Conduct Focus: Ensure all business activities, controls, and behaviors strictly align with regulatory standards and positive customer outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (Professional risk/governance certifications like IRM are a robust plus).
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of core operational risk, compliance, or governance experience within a regulated Financial Services, Insurance, BPO/KPO, or Shared Services environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong grounding in operational risk theory, control testing, KRIs, conduct risk,
and data protection practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively across geographic locations (UK & India).

Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum Experience: 2 Years
- Maximum Experience: 5 or 6 Years
- Minimum Education: Graduate in any discipline
- Preferred Course / Qualifications: B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or equivalent. (Mention willingness/preference for risk certifications like IRM or FRM).
- 2+ years of core experience in Operational Risk, Compliance, or Governance within a regulated Financial Services, Insurance, or Shared Services / BPO environment.
- Hands-on expertise with Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), identifying operational/data/conduct risks, and tracking Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Proven ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis on risk incidents and drive control remediation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating with international/UK teams.
- Direct line-management or coaching experience with junior risk analysts.
- Flexibility for UK Shifts (rotational window between 6:30 AM IST and 2:30 AM IS
