City Head – Retail Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented City Head to lead and scale retail operations across the city. This role offers complete ownership of business performance, customer experience, operational excellence, and profitability. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, improve business metrics, and lead large cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

* Drive city-level business strategy aligned with organizational goals.
* Lead and develop high-performing customer-facing teams.
* Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and business performance.
* Ensure execution excellence across all retail hubs.

P&L; Ownership

* Own city-level P&L; and business outcomes.
* Drive revenue growth and profitability.
* Optimize operational costs while maintaining service quality.
* Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions.

Retail Operations Excellence

* Manage end-to-end operations across multiple retail hubs.
* Standardize processes and ensure operational consistency.
* Improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
* Drive operational excellence initiatives across locations.

Customer Experience

* Enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
* Ensure a seamless customer journey from booking to delivery.
* Resolve escalations and continuously improve service standards.

Sales & Funnel Management

* Strengthen the bookings-to-delivery funnel.




* Improve conversion rates and sales performance.
* Reduce inventory holding periods and improve business efficiency.
* Drive city-level growth initiatives.

Data-Driven Performance Management

* Define, track, and review key business KPIs.
* Leverage data and insights for decision-making.
* Drive accountability through regular performance reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Partner with Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Regional teams.
* Drive alignment on strategic initiatives.
* Ensure flawless execution of city-level business operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience
* 5+ years of experience in business operations, retail operations, or general management roles.
* Proven experience managing large teams and driving business growth.
* Strong experience in P&L; management and operational leadership.
