Job Description:

The Hydrocarbon Accounting (HCA) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the EnergySys SaaS application for Oil & Gas Upstream operations.

Hydrocarbon Accounting involves tracking and managing ownership, production, allocation, and sales of hydrocarbons from extraction to sale.

The role requires strong domain expertise in production accounting, allocation processes, data management and reporting together with hands-on experience with the EnergySys platform.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for Supporting EnergySys application (SaaS)
- Responsible for Implementing EnergySys applications including architectural design and security
- Responsible for Configuring and Maintaining links between data repositories and data sources with EnergySys
- Responsible for Configuring EnergySys ingestion of spreadsheet data transmitted via email
- Functional knowledge and responsibility for generating reports and dashboards
- SME for Production Reporting and HCA data, dashboards and reports in EnergySys
- Valuable Knowledge of Energy Business, Hydrocarbon Accounting, Production Reporting and Operations




- Must have previous experience of implementing and supporting HCA software including EnergySys

Duties:

- Requirement gathering and design for EnergySys application changes requested by Business.
- Configure and code to enhance/create EnergySys calculations/procedures/functions/triggers
- Installation and configuration of EnergySys linking cloud SaaS to customer environment
- Configure EnergySys BPM and Business Process Automation
- Configure and support HCA algorithms and calculations for Production/Transport Allocations in EnergySys
- Configuration of EnergySys interfaces and dashboards (Inbound/Outbound)
- Knowledge of Rest API interfacing mechanism
- Class Model changes according to latest version of EnergySys
- Configuration of customer specific customization
- Validate system function/performance by developing and executing test scripts
- Perform emergency fixes for production issues in EnergySys
- Coordinate with EnergySys for testing SaaS updates to determine any impact for customer users and plan accordingly
- Manage customer relationship by communicating EnergySys architecture, standards, framework, concerns and issues
