Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and banking transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and other reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including TDS, GST
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities during audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure timely filing of financial records.
- Support payroll processing and statutory remittances in coordination with the HR department.
- Monitor branch expenses and verify supporting documents for accounting accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards,
and internal financial controls.
- Perform any other finance and accounting-related assignments as directed by the Reporting Manager.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Finance, or Accounting Operations.
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS), and MS Office.
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- Robust analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude, integrity, confidentiality, and willingness to learn.
