Job Description

We are a leading Legal Education and Publishing Organization based near the Supreme Court of India, Recent Delhi. We are looking for a dynamic and confident Legal Correspondent / Court Reporter to cover important legal developments, interact with advocates, and create legal news content for digital and print platforms.

The candidate will regularly visit the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Tribunals, and other legal forums to gather information, conduct short interviews, and report important legal developments.

Key Responsibilities

- Cover important legal developments from Supreme Court, High Courts, and other judicial forums.
- Conduct short interviews with Senior Advocates, Advocates-on-Record, legal experts, and litigants.
- Gather legal news and current legal developments.
- Prepare concise legal news reports and summaries.
- Record short video bytes and interviews for digital platforms.
- Coordinate with editorial and content teams.
- Research legal developments and verify facts before publication.
- Prepare questions for interviews and legal discussions.
- Attend press briefings, seminars, and legal events.




- Assist in developing legal current affairs content.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

- Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Political Science, Law, or related field.
- Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication preferred.

Experience

- Fresher or 13 years experience in journalism, reporting, digital media, legal journalism, or court reporting.

Essential Skills

- Excellent Hindi speaking skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Confident personality and skilled appearance.
- Strong interviewing skills.
- Ability to speak comfortably on camera.
- Knowledge of current affairs and legal developments.
- Mobile journalism and social media awareness.
- Basic video recording skills.
- Positive writing and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel within Delhi for court coverage.

Preferred Candidates

- Candidates having exposure to Court Reporting, Legal Journalism, Media Houses, YouTube News Channels, Legal Publications, or Law-related Content Creation.
- Law graduates interested in journalism may also apply.
