Job Description - Kaizen Institute South Asia

Job title: Support Consultant (It is a permanent full-time role with no contract or bond. The designation of support consultant will be for 2 years. Based on performance review, post 2 years the designation will change based on career ladder as per the organizational hierarchy and performance.

Location: Job location will be Pune. Based on business needs, willing to travel and relocate across licensed territories (Travel & Relocation can be anywhere in India, Africa, UAE & Southeast Asia countries). Candidate should be willing, be flexible and open to travel anywhere in India and be open to relocate at any point of time to any of our licensed territories of operation including Africa as per organizational requirement for client deliveries. The relocation & travel to Africa is applicable only for male candidates for consulting and client deliveries. For females they need to be willing and be ready to travel anywhere within India for consulting and client deliveries. This will be taken in writing during the recruitment process.

Compensation & Benefits:
Background CTC for students based in Pune (based in Pune meaning having their own house and family)CTC for students based outside Pune (Do not have their own family or own house in Pune) UG4.8 LPA6 LPA (1.2 LPA will be given as HRA which makes it to total 6 LPA)PG5.76 LPA6.96 LPA ((1.2 LPA will be given as HRA which makes it to total 6.96 LPA)

Kindly note HRA will be offered to only those students who do not have their own house, own flat, or family in Pune.
There is no deduction in the CTC for PF, Gratuity, ESI etc, except professional tax and TDS (if applicable). Group Health Insurance of 10 Lakhs will be provided only to employees post 6 months of their joining.

1. Post completion of 1 year (1 year is from the month PMS (Performance Management System) is applicable. PMS becomes applicable post 3 months of joining) - you will be eligible to receive Performance Incentive (PI) based on your and your Circles(teams) performance.
2. During your travel for Kaizen client delivery and sales visit - stay, travel and food expenses will be covered by Client or Kaizen Institute. (as per standard)

About the role:
We are looking out for dynamic freshers in R&KD; (Research and Knowledge Development) Team and Consulting role.




Candidates having 1-2 years of experience in operational excellence will be an added advantage and preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare oneself to be a consultant and be ready to deliver Consulting assignments.
Implementing KAIZEN & Lean implementation projects at Client sites ensuring strong outcomes aligned with operational excellence objectives
Bringing in the promised change through process improvements and delivering agreed results as per the contract and helping clients to achieve competitive advantage in its industry
Ensure timely and quality delivery of consulting assignments with solid stakeholder engagement
Achieving 100% score on discipline in R&KD; initiatives
Support ongoing development and excellence of the R&KD; (Research and Knowledge Development) Team
Use tools like Value Stream Mapping, Five 'S', Standard Work, SMED, TPM, Visual Management, Poka Yoke, Six Sigma and Problem Solving (A3/ PDCA) to implement real change
Partner with client teams to identify improvement opportunities, design innovative solutions and build internal capabilities
Contribute to create and sustaining a culture of continual improvement at client organizations

Skills:
Power point Presentation skills

- Strong Analytical skills
- Excellent problem solving and public speaking skills.
- Programming language: Python, SQL, RPA (is a plus)
- Statistical tools: Minitab, Advance Excel, Power BI, Tableau
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools and techniques (VSM, Five 'S', Root Cause Analysis, Visual Management, OEE, Poka Yoke etc

Education:

- Btech Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production Engineering AND/ OR M. Tech in Industrial/ Production Engineering AND/ OR MBA in Operations (major and only as a single specialization). Students from MBA Operations background should have done their UG in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering only.
