Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI to develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions for Banking and Financial Services. The ideal candidate should have experience building production-ready models in regulated environments with solid knowledge of model governance, explainability, and MLOps.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, validate, and deploy Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics models.
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model optimization.
- Develop explainable AI solutions using SHAP, LIME, and model governance frameworks.
- Build and manage ML pipelines using MLflow, Databricks, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams for model deployment, monitoring, and drift detection.
- Develop Generative AI and LLM-based solutions using RAG frameworks for document processing and automation.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and support Model Risk Management (MRM) and regulatory compliance.
- Present insights and model outcomes to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Mentor junior data scientists and enforce best practices in code quality and experimentation.





Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in Data Science with at least 3 years deploying production ML models.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost) or R.
- Strong understanding of Statistics, Hypothesis Testing, Bayesian Methods, Regression, and Time Series Analysis.
- Experience with MLflow, Databricks, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or similar MLOps platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SHAP, LIME, Model Explainability, and Model Governance.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
