Key Responsibilities:

- Build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js.
- Design high-performance systems capable of handling millions of requests daily.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Fargate), and Docker.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability.
- Refactor and enhance existing codebases for scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and support teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices.

Required Skills:

- 59 years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.




- Hands-on experience with AWS services and Docker.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, system design, scalability, and distributed systems.
- Experience debugging and supporting production applications.
- Solid communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with GraphQL and microservices architecture.
- Exposure to high-scale SaaS products and cloud-native systems.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies/frameworks.
- Prior startup experience is a plus.
