What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Business Development
- Identify and pursue high-value corporate accounts with long-term potential, particularly in facility management, real estate services, manufacturing, and institutional procurement.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline not just for the quarter, but with an eye on where the business needs to be twelve months from now.
- Lead senior-level client conversations with credibility and depth that only comes from real experience in the field.
- Represent Akribiz in industry forums, networking events, and strategic meetings where relationships are built over time, not in a single pitch.
Account Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Own a portfolio of marquee accounts and take full responsibility for their health, growth, and continuity.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell across Akribiz's full product range: stationery, hygiene systems, housekeeping consumables, bamboo-based products, and IoT-enabled smart cleaning solutions.
- Lead structured business reviews with CXO and senior procurement contacts, positioning Akribiz as a long-term partner rather than a vendor.
- Anticipate client needs before they become complaints, and resolve escalations with the kind of calm that comes from having seen it before.
ESG & Sustainability Positioning
- Engage sustainability leads, ESG heads, and CSR teams at target corporates a growing and underserved audience that Akribiz is actively building relationships with.
- Translate product capabilities, carbon footprint data, BRSR Principle 6, and GRI 301/305/308 alignment into business conversations that resonate with non-procurement stakeholders.
- Position Akribiz's Tork (Essity) partnership and green product portfolio as a genuine ESG solution, not just a hygiene category play.
CRM, Reporting & Commercial Discipline
- Maintain an accurate and forward-looking CRM pipeline stages,
account health, key contacts, and next actions.
- Provide the Director with clear, unsolicited visibility into what's moving, what's stuck, and what needs a decision.
- Handle pricing negotiations and commercial conversations with the confidence to hold value while being fair to the client.
Team Development
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of sales executives, helping them grow their own books while contributing to the collective target.
- Conduct pipeline reviews, accompany team members on key client calls, and debrief constructively.
- Be the person junior salespeople learn from, not just in technique, but in judgment.
What We're Looking For
- 7 or more years of B2B corporate sales experience, ideally from companies such as Chaipoint, Cafe Coffee Day, Nestle, Diversey, Eco Lab, Kimberly-Clark, Mystair, or the FM sales teams of JLL, ISS, Knight Frank, or CBRE.
- A demonstrable track record of building and retaining large, complex accounts, not just closing deals, but growing them year on year.
- Prior experience leading a sales team with measurable outcomes.
- Solid existing relationships within corporate procurement, FM, or real estate services in NCR and ideally beyond.
- The commercial maturity to negotiate on value, not cave on price.
- Excellent communication in English and Hindi; the ability to hold a room at any level of seniority.
- High integrity: our business runs on trust, and this role sits very close to it.
Good to Have
- Hands-on familiarity with ESG, LEED, BRSR, or sustainability procurement frameworks.
- Experience selling to or navigating large MNC procurement structures.
- Prior exposure to IoT-enabled facility or hygiene solutions.
- Candidates from procurement or admin backgrounds who are genuinely keen to move into sales are welcome; product familiarity shortens the curve considerably.
