Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Head – IT Infrastructure / System Administration Head to take complete ownership of our IT infrastructure function. This is a leadership-level role, not a regular Senior System Administrator position.

The candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure uptime, servers, monitoring, backups, security, escalations, documentation, junior system administrators, and permanent resolution of recurring issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure operations across servers, hosted applications, CRM, VoIP/calling switch, and call center systems.
- Take ownership of approximately 50–60 servers and ensure high availability, uptime, and performance.
- Lead and supervise junior system administrators and infrastructure support staff.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, escalation, and incident management processes.
- Ensure timely backup, recovery, patching, server hardening, and infrastructure security.
- Handle critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, asset details, access records, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with vendors, telecom providers, application teams, and management for infrastructure-related matters.
- Plan capacity, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and business continuity measures.

Required Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in managing medium to large IT infrastructure environments.




- Experience handling call center infrastructure, VoIP/calling switch, CRM, hosted applications, and server environments.
- Must have managed a sizeable server setup, preferably 50+ servers.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, backups, monitoring tools, security practices, and incident management.
- Ability to lead a team and take department-level ownership.
- Should be strong in escalation handling, RCA, documentation, and permanent issue resolution.
- Good communication, ownership mindset, and ability to work with management.

Required Experience

- Solid experience in IT infrastructure management, system administration, server management, and infrastructure operations.
- Prior experience managing infrastructure for call center, BPO, CRM, VoIP/calling switch, dialer, hosted application, or similar high-availability environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience handling a sizeable server environment, preferably 50+ servers.
- Experience managing junior system administrators or infrastructure support teams.
- Strong exposure to incident management, root cause analysis, backups, monitoring, access control, and infrastructure documentation.
- Experience working with business-critical applications where downtime directly affects operations.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, telecom providers, application teams, and management.
