Roles and Responsibilities

- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when typing medical reports or summaries.

- Utilize strong English language skills (reading comprehension) to understand audio recordings from various sources.

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 1-5 years of experience as a Medical Scribe/Transcriptionist in an acute care setting (hospital).

- Robust understanding of medical terminology and ability to learn new terms quickly.

- Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately transcribe spoken words into written text.

- Proficiency in using computer software applications for transcription purposes (e.g., Dragon NaturallySpeaking).

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality output.
