Job Title: SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SQL Developer with 48 years of hands-on experience in database development, query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient database solutions while ensuring data integrity, security, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Design and implement logical and physical data models.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and security across systems.
- Create reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.




- Maintain technical documentation, database standards, and best practices.

Required Skills

- 4–8 years of experience in SQL Development.
- Robust expertise in MS SQL Server (preferred), MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Triggers
- Views
- Indexes

- Strong knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security practices.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or other cloud-based database platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
