About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with a solid background in Ground Mount Solar PV Design to join our engineering team at our Delhi Head Office. The ideal candidate should come from a Civil or Mechanical Engineering background and possess extensive experience in designing utility-scale solar power projects. Experience in Rooftop Solar Design will be an added advantage.

This role requires a technically sound professional who can deliver optimized, cost-effective, and technically compliant solar plant designs while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Ground Mount Solar PV systems for utility-scale and commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings including GA layouts, mounting structure layouts, foundation drawings, BOQ, and construction drawings.
- Perform site layout optimization considering topography, shading, land utilization, drainage, and accessibility.
- Design module mounting structures and coordinate with structural, electrical, and civil engineering teams.
- Review geotechnical reports and recommend suitable foundation solutions.
- Prepare design calculations, technical documentation, and engineering reports.
- Support project execution teams with design clarifications and engineering modifications.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants,



and clients during design reviews and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable national and international standards, safety guidelines, and client specifications.
- Provide technical support during project estimation, bidding, and execution.
- Experience in Rooftop Solar Design (commercial and industrial) will be considered an added advantage.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in the Solar EPC industry.
- Proven expertise in Ground Mount Solar PV Design is mandatory.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of mounting structures, foundations, grading concepts, and site optimization.
- Hands-on experience with engineering and design tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, STAAD Pro, Helioscope, SketchUp, or equivalent software.
- Good understanding of relevant codes, standards, and engineering practices for solar projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Ground Mount Solar PV Design.
- Knowledge of tracker-based solar systems.
- Exposure to international solar design standards and EPC practices.
- Experience working on large-scale utility or C&I; solar projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
