Lead RPA Developer (US Healthcare)

Work Timings: 5:30 PM 2:30 AM IST (to overlap with US timezone)

Role Overview

We are looking for seasoned Lead RPA Developers with deep expertise in UiPath and strong hands-on experience in the US Healthcare domain particularly in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), medical billing, claims processing, and related workflows. In this role, you will lead end-to-end automation delivery, mentor junior developers, and work closely with business analyst(s), healthcare clients, and project manager(s) to design robust, scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of RPA solutions using UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Action Center, Document Understanding, RE Framework).
- Please note that this is a hands-on coding role. Applicants should have strong programming skills and be prepared to demonstrate their ability to write and deliver high-quality code.
- Drive automation initiatives across US Healthcare workflows including RCM, Medical Billing, Claims Adjudication, Denial Management, Eligibility Verification, Prior Authorization, AR Follow-up, and Payment Posting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, conduct process discovery, and define solution architecture.
- Develop and maintain Process Definition Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide a team of RPA developers; conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Ensure bots are deployed reliably on UiPath Orchestrator and meet SLA, performance, and exception-handling requirements.
- Integrate automation solutions with healthcare systems such as EMR/EHR platforms (eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc.), payer portals, and billing systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities to incorporate AI/ML capabilities (UiPath Document Understanding,



AI Fabric) to enhance automation outcomes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize existing automations, and ensure high availability.
- Participate in client-facing discussions, requirement workshops, and project status meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years of hands-on RPA development using UiPath.
- Strong understanding of US Healthcare domain specifically RCM, Billing, Coding, Claims, Denial Management, and AR workflows.
- Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, RE Framework (Robotic Enterprise Framework), and UiPath Apps/Action Center.
- Experience with SQL and databases.
- Experience integrating bots with healthcare portals, EMR/EHR systems, and payer/clearinghouse platforms.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Document Understanding for processing healthcare documents (EOBs, claim forms, 835/837 files, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and handling Protected Health Information (PHI) within automated workflows.
- Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and working with JSON/XML data.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex business processes into efficient automation.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.

Good to Have

- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification (UiARD) or other UiPath certifications.
- Experience with Automation Hub, Task Mining, or Process Mining tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to other RPA platforms (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments for bot hosting and deployment.
