Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Overview of Job Descriptions- Capital Markets/IPO s Capital Markets contributes to building a better working world by enabling and promoting quality assurance services to serve the public interest and capital markets. The mission of the Group is to perform the following with independence, integrity and objectivity: Enable teams to deliver highest quality assurance services through consultation and robust guidance, enablers and training content. Monitor and evaluate the Assurance practice s system of quality control. Capital Markets (CM)works with Assurance practice on all aspects of IPO s/QIP s, Bond listing and SEBI and other regulatory requirements. Capital Markets works closely with international offices, PEs, investment bankers and counsels. Capital Markets members gain valuable experience working with senior leaders and collaborating with various stakeholders on critical/ emerging issues, while expanding their network at the firm. Capital Markets members may lead or get involved in a number of activities, including assisting in researching and resolving technical questions; and monitoring quality throughout the firm, etc.
Working with CM allows person a greater exposure to different subject matter areas and collaboration with various leaders in a way that drives a multi-faceted understanding of issues and their resolution. Capital Markets members will have varying responsibilities, including: Serve as consultative resource to audit teams. Perform Technical Review of Financial Statements prepared as per IFRS/ Ind AS Oversight over audit teams and audit work Review of offer documents. Review of all deliverables related to IPO s/ transactions. Monitor and participates in standard-setting activities and professional working groups and committees. Represent the Firm on accounting and auditing matters in various venues. Develop the Firm s thought leadership on accounting and auditing / reporting matters for professionals, clients and external stakeholders.
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
- Chartered Accountant
Experience
- 5 + years
- 5+years of auditing / accounting / capital markets experience
