- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
- Develop efficient data models using star and snowflake schemas.
- Write advanced DAX calculations, measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M Language).
- Connect Power BI to various data sources such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Optimize report performance by improving DAX queries, data models, and dataset refresh processes.
- Configure and manage Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Publish, deploy, and maintain reports in Power BI Service.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to deliver reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports.
- Troubleshoot report performance issues and resolve data-related problems.
- Create documentation for dashboards, data models,



and report development processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with new Power BI features and recommend best practices.

Required Skills

- 5-7 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Solid expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M Language).
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources.
- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS), Incremental Refresh, and Deployment Pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI REST APIs is an advantage.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Git or Azure DevOps for version control is preferred.
