Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

We are looking for a skilled Oracle DBA with 2+ years of hands-on experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database installation, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and ensuring high availability and security of production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software (11g/12c/19c and above)
- Monitor database performance and proactively tune SQL queries, indexes, and instances
- Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN

• Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery

- Handle user access management, roles, and database security
- Perform regular health checks, capacity planning, and space management
- Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, ensuring minimal downtime
- Apply patches, upgrades,



and manage database migrations
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support business needs

• Participate in on-call rotation for production support as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments

• Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c administration

• Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery

• Experience with Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and RAC (preferred)

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

• Understanding of Linux/Unix OS administration basics

• Knowledge of database security best practices

• Positive problem-solving and communication skills

• Oracle certification (OCA/OCP) is a plus
