Role Summary

The AWS Security Engineer (AI, Automation & True Foundry) will be responsible for end-to-end cloud security engineering while driving AI-powered automation initiatives to enhance and scale cybersecurity operations. This role combines AWS security expertise with automation, AIOps, GenAI, and analytics capabilities to improve operational efficiency, strengthen security posture, and enable intelligent decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Security Engineering

- Design, implement, and maintain secure AWS cloud environments following security best practices.

- Manage cloud security controls, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Monitor, assess, and remediate cloud security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

Security Automation & Orchestration

- Design and develop security automation and orchestration solutions using AWS-native services such as AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, and SOAR frameworks.

- Automate repetitive security operations and incident response activities to reduce manual effort and operational overhead.

- Create, maintain, and optimize reusable automation workflows, scripts, and runbooks.

- Leverage TrueFoundry for AI and automation-driven security use cases and platform integrations.

AI-Driven Dashboards & Reporting





- Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights from cybersecurity incidents, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management platforms.

- Build scalable data visualization solutions that replace manual reporting processes.

- Continuously enhance dashboards based on business and security stakeholder requirements.

GenAI & Agentic Security Solutions

- Design and implement AI-powered security assistants and agents using enterprise-approved AI platforms.

- Enable intelligent capabilities such as alert triage, threat analysis, incident summarization, and investigation acceleration.

- Establish governance, access controls, and entitlement management for AI systems handling sensitive security data.

- Validate AI outputs, implement guardrails, and ensure responsible AI adoption within security operations.

AIOps & Machine Learning

- Apply machine learning and AIOps techniques to identify anomalies, detect threats, and prioritize security events across large-scale telemetry datasets.

- Continuously tune detection models and analytics logic to improve accuracy and reduce false positives.

Event-Driven Remediation & Security Guardrails

- Develop automated remediation workflows for cloud security incidents, policy violations, and configuration drift.

- Implement preventive security guardrails that proactively enforce organizational security standards.





- Ensure all automation operates within established governance, compliance, and change-management controls.

Detection-as-Code & DevSecOps

- Implement Detection-as-Code methodologies to manage security detections through source control and automation frameworks.

- Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Maintain version-controlled security detections, automation scripts, and governance policies for auditability and consistency.

Security Data Engineering

- Build and manage security telemetry data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, AI models, and security operations workflows.

- Ensure high-quality data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, governance, and secure access management across all security datasets.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Solid experience in AWS Security Engineering.

- Hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM, and CloudTrail.

- Experience with TrueFoundry and AI-driven automation platforms.

- Knowledge of SOAR, AIOps, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks.

- Experience building security dashboards and telemetry-driven analytics solutions.

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Detection-as-Code, and cloud security best practices.

- Experience with security data pipelines, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response automation.

- Ability to drive innovation, mentor teams, and lead AI-enabled cybersecurity transformation initiatives.
