Role & responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications using AWS ECS/Fargate, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Administer and optimize AWS RDS (PostgreSQL) databases, including backup, replication, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement and optimize high-performance caching solutions (e.g., Redis, ElastiCache) to improve application responsiveness and scalability.





Preferred candidate profile

- 6+ years of experience designing, managing, and troubleshooting scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Proven expertise in containerized environments (AWS ECS/Fargate) and relational database infrastructure (AWS RDS/PostgreSQL).

- Advanced proficiency in IaC and CI/CD automation.

- Solid experience implementing high-performance caching layers.

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

- Hands-on experience navigating and deploying within AWS China regions.

- Robust understanding of network-level troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with the performance demands of serving headless CMS APIs to desktop/client applications.
