Position: AR Caller Physician Billing Department: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Location: Chennai

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AR Caller Physician Billing with hands-on experience in Cerner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing physician accounts receivable, following up with insurance companies, resolving claim issues, and ensuring timely reimbursement while meeting quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform insurance follow-up on outstanding physician claims.
- Contact insurance companies to determine claim status and resolve payment issues.
- Analyze and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments.
- Identify root causes of denied claims and take corrective action.
- Work on aging AR to maximize collections and reduce outstanding balances.
- Document all actions and follow-up activities accurately in Cerner.
- Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Required Qualifications:





- 1 to 5 years of experience in Physician Billing AR Calling.
- Hands-on experience with Cerner
- Valuable understanding of the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle.
- Experience working with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
- Knowledge of denial management, payment posting concepts, and insurance follow-up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve productivity goals.
- Preferred Skills:

- Experience handling multiple specialties in physician billing.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding concepts.
- Knowledge of payer portals and eligibility verification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
