Qualification: Postgraduate in Science/ Lifescience/ Engineering
Shift: Should be flexible for 2pm to 11pm

Job Description:

Editorial Associates (EA) to support editorial and/ or production workflows for STM peer reviewed journals.
1. Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal journal stakeholders (e.g., editors, authors, publishers, colleagues)
2. Perform quality checks on new and revised manuscript submissions following checklists and journal policy guidelines
3. Follow accurate set of workflow protocols and ensure all manuscript requirements are met
4. Facilitate manuscript peer review through outreach to editors and reviewers as directed
5.



Use KGLs cloud-based technology as a communication and productivity tool
6. Proofread and send decision letters and other correspondence to authors, editors, and reviewers
7. Complete all assigned tasks during scheduled hours and meet productivity expectations
8. Be a proficient user of the manuscript management system like ScholarOne, Editorial Manager etc
9. Provide editor, reviewer, and author technical support related to submission requirements and the submission system
10. Provide assistance to newer staff who may shadow experienced colleagues
