Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing activities across SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP testing methodologies, test strategy, defect management, automation, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires managing testing across multiple SAP modules while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the overall SAP testing strategy for implementation, upgrade, migration, and support projects.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all phases of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Cutover Validation.
- Develop test plans, test schedules, resource plans, and quality metrics.
- Lead and mentor functional and technical testing teams across multiple SAP modules.
- Coordinate with business users, project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Manage defect lifecycle using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or SAP Solution Manager.
- Track testing progress, defect resolution, and overall quality metrics, providing regular status updates to project leadership.
- Ensure traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Review and approve test cases, test scripts, execution reports, and sign-off documentation.
- Identify project risks related to testing and implement mitigation plans.
- Support release management, production deployment validation, and hypercare activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in SAP testing processes, governance, and best practices.




- Evaluate and implement test automation strategies where applicable.

Required Skills

- 8–15 years of experience in SAP implementation and testing projects.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP Test Lead or Test Manager.
- Solid understanding of SAP testing lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience managing testing across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, or SAP landscape transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience in preparing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and defect reports.
- Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, and End-to-End testing.
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, BRIM, IS-U, or SuccessFactors.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools such as SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or HP ALM.
- Strong understanding of release management and change management processes.
- Excellent reporting, planning, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager Test Suite.
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, Selenium, or UiPath.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery models.
- ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent testing certification.
- SAP certification in any functional or technical module is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
