Role & responsibilities
- Manage the development, review, and approval of quality management documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records, ensuring alignment with the Industrial Business Unit's requirements.
- Plan, conduct, and oversee internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits in compliance with IATF 16949 to evaluate system effectiveness, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement a self-assessment program that enables manufacturing sites to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of their manufacturing processes.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and analyze trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Leverage data analysis, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to lead continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall operational performance.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 03 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), preferably in the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector.
- Basic understanding of IATF 16949,
ISO 9001, and Automotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Familiarity with QMS documentation, such as quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality records.
- Exposure to internal quality system audits and willingness to support external certification and customer audits.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, including Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis techniques such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control practices, with an interest in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and support process improvement activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across quality, manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
