Role & responsibilities
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software modules such as MCAL, COM, DIAG (DCM, DEM), MEMORY (NVM, EEPROM, FLS), and SYSTEM SERVICES (EcuM, BswM, COMM).
- Develop and maintain AUTOSAR modules, ensuring compliance with architecture, design, and documentation standards.
- Implement AUTOSAR functions and connect applications to vehicle networks (e.g., CAN, LIN, Diagnostics, OBD).
- Collaborate with the HQ Korea R&D; team, including System Evaluation, Platform Development, Functional Safety, and ASPICE Process teams.
- Collaborate with system architects, software engineers, and hardware teams to define and validate software architecture and requirements.
- Use tools such as Vector AUTOSAR and HKMC Mobilgene for project development.
- Utilize tools such as EB Tresos, Vector DaVinci, AUTOSAR Builder, Rhapsody, and Enterprise Architect for software design and configuration.
- Ensure adherence to ASPICE-based development processes.
- Develop and configure Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) and BSW modules.
- Perform AUTOSAR RTE & OS configuration including task scheduling, mapping, and event handling.
Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., communication, diagnosis,
hardware electromagnetic compatibility, workplace, functional safety, cybersecurity).
- Experience in C language development for mass production projects.
- Korean language skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Proven experience in automotive mass production projects.
- Expertise in AUTOSAR configuration and integration (VECTOR, Mobilgene).
- Development and debugging of UDS, OBD services, and configurations for DCM, DEM, BSWM, COM, NVM, RTE.
- Compliance with ISO 26262 safety standards.
- Design and optimization of communication stacks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Configure and integrate memory, diagnostics (DCM, DEM), communication stacks (CAN, SPI, PDUR), and MCAL modules.
- Lead and support debugging activities using advanced techniques and tools such as CANoe, Trace32 or Lauterbach.
- Write and maintain scripts (Python/CAPL) for automation and simulation purposes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best practices.
Additional Information
- Availability for domestic and international business trips is required.
