Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing of battery modules & packs (electrical, thermal, mechanical, environmental, safety)
• Define and execute DVP (Design Verification Plan) and DFMEA with full ownership
• Plan, schedule, and manage testing activities including resources, budgets, and timelines
• Operate and coordinate testing using battery cyclers and lab infrastructure
• Drive failure analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 8D problem-solving
• Monitor test progress and present MIS reports to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with AIS, ISO, IEC, and UN38.3 standards
• Lead CAPEX planning, installation, and commissioning of battery testing setups
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians

Preferred candidate profile





- 811 years of experience in EV battery testing / validation / EPT hardware
• Strong hands-on experience with battery modules, packs, and high voltage systems
• Proven ownership of DVP, DFMEA, and complete validation lifecycle
• Experience working with battery cyclers (AVL / Arbin / Bitrode or equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in failure analysis and problem-solving
• Prior experience in team handling (36 members)
• Positive understanding of automotive testing standards (AIS / ISO / IEC / UN38.3)
• Exposure to battery lab setup, test automation, or data reporting is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
