Position: HCC Coder
Location: Chennai

Experience Required

HCC Coder (Non-Certified)

- Minimum 9 months of HCC coding experience
- Life Science background is mandatory

HCC Coder (Certified)

- Minimum 1 year of HCC coding experience
- Certification required: CRC, CPC, or CCS

Notice Period

- Immediate joiners are preferred
- Candidates currently serving their notice period are also welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

- Review medical records to identify patient diagnoses and treatments
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes
- Map diagnoses to Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC)
- Ensure coding accuracy and consistency
- Audit medical records and documentation for compliance




- Provide coding guidance and feedback to physicians and healthcare providers
- Educate physicians, providers, and clinic staff on clinical documentation and compliance requirements

Required Skills

- Solid background in medical coding
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to coding accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and HEDIS CAT II coding
