Java Developer

Job Summary

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with 5-9 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and modern development practices. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, coding, unit testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.




- Experience in developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Good understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Certifications in Java, Cloud, or Agile methodologies are an added advantage.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
