Job Title: Test Lead - Accessibility

Location: Chennai

Mode: On-Site(Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Testing Lead to manage and mentor

a team of approximately 10 accessibility testers while ensuring high-quality delivery

across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

accessibility standards, assistive technologies, testing tools, and stakeholder

management.

Key Responsibilities: 1) Team Leadership Lead and manage a team of 10 accessibility testers. Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely project delivery. Mentor and upskill team members on accessibility standards, tools, and best practices.

2) Accessibility Testing & Compliance Conduct and oversee accessibility testing for web, mobile, and document-based content. Evaluate compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA, and PDF/UA standards. Validate keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, ARIA implementation, and responsive accessibility.

3) Tools & Technologies Perform manual and automated accessibility testing using tools such as axe DevTools, WAVE, and ANDI. Utilize assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

4) Quality & Reporting Review accessibility defects and audit findings. Ensure proper documentation, compliance reports, and WCAG mapping. Define and track accessibility quality metrics and KPIs. 5) Stakeholder Management Collaborate with developers, designers, QA teams, and content authors.



Provide remediation guidance and ensure closure of accessibility issues. Support client discussions, audits, and pre-sales/RFP activities.

Preferred skills & Requirements: Strong experience in Accessibility Testing and Compliance. Hands-on expertise with WCAG, Section 508, ADA, and PDF accessibility. Experience with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Proficiency in axe DevTools, WAVE, ANDI, and related accessibility tools. Proven experience leading and managing accessibility testing teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skil

Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in Accessibility such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, Trusted Tester, or equivalent. Experience conducting accessibility audits for web applications, mobile applications, ePub, and digital documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ARIA, and semantic web development practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to accessibility consulting, client-facing engagements, and pre-sales/RFP activities. Knowledge of accessibility regulations and compliance requirements across global markets. Experience establishing accessibility testing frameworks, processes, and governance models. Ability to analyze complex accessibility issues and provide effective remediation recommendations. Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in large-scale enterprise environments.
