Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Developer/Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Managed File Transfer (MFT), EDI integrations, and supply chain solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise B2B integration solutions across trading partners, customers, and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and support IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) solutions.
- Implement and manage EDI transactions such as X12, EDIFACT, ANSI, XML, and flat-file integrations.
- Develop and maintain business processes, maps, workflows, and routing rules within Sterling Integrator.
- Configure communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, MQ, and Connect:Direct.
- Integrate IBM Sterling with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, and other enterprise applications.
- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure SLA adherence.
- Perform onboarding and support for trading partners, vendors, and customers.
- Work closely with business users and external partners to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-production support activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and operational runbooks.

- 6+ years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI).
- Robust knowledge of EDI standards including X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, and flat files.
- Hands-on experience with Sterling Map Editor, Business Process Modeling, and Trading Partner Management.
- Experience with communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, MQ, and Connect:Direct.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Experience in production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of B2B integration architecture and enterprise application integration.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
- Experience with IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer (MFT).
- Exposure to IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Healthcare domains.
- Experience integrating Sterling with SAP, Oracle ERP, or cloud platforms.
- Exposure to API integrations, REST/SOAP web services, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.

- IBM Certified Integration Specialist
