Role: Senior Business Analyst (Techno-Functional)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated techno-functional expert responsible for bridging the gap between intricate business data needs and robust technical data solutions.

This role requires a seasoned skilled who can not only translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications but also possess a deep understanding of data ingestion patterns and data processing methodologies. A strong background in US healthcare, coupled with extensive experience in data processing concepts such as Source-to-Target Data Mapping (STTM), ETL concepts,



and entity-relationship modeling, is critical for success. This individual will drive the successful implementation of our enterprise-wide data solutions, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.

Responsibilities:

*Actively engage with diverse business stakeholders (e.g., Provider, Enrollment, Clinical) to thoroughly understand their data needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, with an eye towards technical feasibility and data architecture.

*Engage with different teams to load data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse from multiple sources and ingestion patterns.

*Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, source systems, and data flows to identify optimal data acquisition strategies and opportunities for data platform enhancements.

*Translate complex business requirements into detailed, unambiguous functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with data architecture principles.*Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and data modelers to define comprehensive data requirements, data definitions, and data quality standards.

*Specialize in Source-to-Target Data Mapping (STTM) to meticulously document data transformations, business rules, and data lineage, ensuring accurate and complete data flow from diverse source systems to the enterprise data platform.

*Provide expert guidance on ETL mechanisms, understanding the nuances of incremental data capture, processing, and integration.

*Assist in the creation and review of logical and physical data models,



ensuring they accurately reflect business needs and adhere to enterprise data goverce standards.*Develop comprehensive data flow diagrams, process maps, and system integration specifications that account for technical execution.*Drive and participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile framework, from ideation to deployment and post-implementation support.*Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to effectively communicate technical and business requirements, progress, and solutions to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.*Act as a strong communicator and facilitator, effectively bridging the gap and fostering collaboration between technical development teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

*6-9 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst, with at least 3 years directly focused on data-intensive projects or enterprise data platforms.*Experience in the US healthcare industry, including deep understanding of healthcare data (e.g., Provider, claims, membership, clinical), workflows, and regulatory landscape.*Proven expertise in defining and documenting detailed Source-to-Target Data Mapping (STTM) for complex data integration projects, including transformation logic.

*Solid understanding and practical experience with ETL concepts and their application in data warehousing/data lake environments.*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.*Ability to work across multiple business units and manage complex requirements.

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

*Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques.

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
