Role & responsibilities:
- Experience in US Real Estate / Property Accounting
- Solid knowledge of month-end close procedures, including updating close workpapers, variance analysis, review of proper income/expense classification, and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Hands-on experience in CAM (Common Area Maintenance)
- Review income statements and balance sheets including Rental Revenue, Recoveries/Leakage, Non-Recoverable Expense, Bad
- Debt, and Occupancy.
- Review expenses and determine appropriate capitalization versus expensing treatment
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems such as JDE, Yardi & MRI
