Key Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership

- Lead and manage the content writing and editorial team.
- Develop editorial calendars for print and digital editions.
- Ensure accuracy, credibility, originality, and journalistic standards.
- Approve headlines, feature stories, columns, and special reports.
- Coordinate with reporters, photographers, designers, and digital teams.

Content Strategy

- Create reader-focused and trending content strategies.
- Drive audience engagement through impactful storytelling.
- Monitor competitor publications and market trends.
- Introduce cutting-edge formats for digital journalism and social media content.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure all content complies with media ethics and legal regulations.
- Review grammar, tone, factual accuracy, and plagiarism issues.
- Maintain consistency in newspaper style and editorial guidelines.

Team Management





- Train and mentor content writers and junior editors.
- Allocate assignments and monitor productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and quality assessments.

Digital & SEO Management

- Oversee website news updates and online publishing.
- Optimize digital content for SEO and audience reach.
- Coordinate social media news promotions.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, or related field.

Experience

- 8 to 15+ years in newspaper/media editorial operations.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in leadership/editorial management role.
