Role & responsibilities

1. Oversee the daily fabrication operations to ensure smooth and efficient production activities.

2. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship across all fabrication processes.

3. Manage the calibration and maintenance of fabrication instruments and equipment to ensure operational accuracy and reliability.

4. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.

5. Lead and implement cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, waste elimination, and productivity enhancement projects.

6. Review the weekly production schedule, plan manpower requirements, and assign jobs to operators to ensure timely completion of scheduled work.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Robust knowledge of fabrication processes, welding techniques, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
2. Sound understanding of safety regulations, 5S,



and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated experience in driving cost reduction, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen preferred).
4. Ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate work effectively to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
5. Good leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide shop-floor personnel.
6. Proficient in MS Office applications; familiarity with ERP systems/SAP will be an added advantage.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
8. Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to business requirements, as needed.
9. Preferred Immediate joiner or Maximum 30 days Notice period.
