Job Summary:

VGN Homes Private Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Legal Officer to strengthen our legal and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal due diligence, managing documentation, mitigating risks, and supporting seamless execution of real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive title due diligence and verification of land ownership documents.

- Examine revenue records, Encumbrance Certificates (ECs), and related statutory documents.

- Provide explicit and well-reasoned legal opinions along with risk assessments.

- Draft, review, and vet agreements, sale deeds, joint development agreements, and other legal documents.

- Identify potential legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements across projects.





- Handle and resolve legal queries from clients and internal stakeholders.

- Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.

- Maintain proper documentation and records for all legal transactions.

Eligibility Criteria:

- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate legal functions.

- Strong knowledge of property laws, land acquisition, and regulatory compliance.

- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
