Production Manager (CNC Machine Shop)

Location: Irungattukottai

CTC: 5 6.5 LPA (Based on Experience)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 8– 20 Years

Note: Immediate Joiners Preferred

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead CNC Machine Shop operations and ensure smooth production, quality compliance, productivity improvement, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

* Achieve production targets and customer delivery commitments.

* Manage HMC, VMC, VTL, CNC Turning, and 4th/5th Axis machining operations.

* Optimize machining processes, cycle times, tooling, and machine utilization.

* Troubleshoot machining issues related to dimensions, tooling, vibration, and surface finish.

* Lead and manage CNC Operators, Setters, Programmers, and Supervisors.

* Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Purchase departments.

* Reduce rejection, rework, downtime, and tooling costs.

* Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM,



and Continuous Improvement activities.

* Ensure workplace safety, PPE compliance, and 5S implementation.

* Prepare production MIS reports and performance analysis for management.

Required Skills:

* Strong knowledge of HMC, VMC, VTL, CNC Turning & Multi-Axis Machining.

* CNC Programming knowledge (Fanuc / Siemens preferred).

* Drawing Reading & GD&T; expertise.

* Process Planning and Production Optimization.

* Tool Selection and Cutting Parameter Knowledge.

* Lean Manufacturing & TPM Knowledge.

* Robust Leadership and Team Management Skills.
