Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Counsellor with hands-on experience in Health Insurance and TPA Operations. The ideal candidate will assist patients throughout their treatment journey by coordinating insurance approvals, explaining treatment costs, managing cashless claims, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide patients regarding treatment plans, admission procedures, and insurance perks.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for pre-authorizations, approvals, and claim settlements.
- Manage cashless hospitalization processes and insurance documentation.
- Explain treatment estimates, insurance coverage, and billing details to patients and their families.
- Work closely with doctors, nursing staff, billing, and front office teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Resolve patient concerns related to insurance, billing,



and hospital services.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance approvals, claims, and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance guidelines.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Patient Counselling, Insurance, or TPA operations within a hospital.
- Good knowledge of cashless claims, reimbursement processes, and medical insurance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
