Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support DASD & Tape storage systems.
- Work with DFSMS, HSM, RMM, DFP, DSS, ICF Catalogs, VSAM, ICKDSF.
- Handle ATL/VTS, SILOs, TS7700 environments.
- Perform storage allocation, migration, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot storage issues and support backup/restore processes.
- Work with reporting and capacity planning tools.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mainframe storage concepts.
- Hands on experience with IBM storage tools.
- Familiarity with 3rd party tools: FDR/ABR, STOPX37, CA 1, CA Disk, EMC, etc.
- Valuable analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
