Senior Database Developer (MySQL & PostgreSQL) 10+ Years Experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Developer with 10+ years of expertise

- Designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale database systems using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database architecture
- performance tuning, query optimization, data modeling, replication, high availability, Multi Tenancy, RLS
- cloud-based database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable database architectures for enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, views, functions, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot database bottlenecks and capable of handling production issues within SLA.
- Implement database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.




- Design and maintain database replication and high-availability solutions.
- Work closely with application development teams to optimize data access patterns.
- Perform database migrations and version upgrades.
- Monitor database health, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
- Develop ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Partitioning, Pruning, Tuning during the production long running jobs.
- Writing complex queries to cater to Business reports.
- Understanding of semantic layer and Graph databases
- Good understanding on structured, unstructured, and semi structured storage.
- Entity relationship digrams and Knowledge base maintenance.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and database engineers.
- Valuable understanding of AI, RAG and ML, LLM, Multi tenancy and RLS
