Role & responsibilities
- Source and procure quality raw materials, packaging, and other supplies at competitive prices.
- Compare quotations, negotiate with vendors, and issue purchase orders on time.
- Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Track deliveries, verify invoices, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships while ensuring quality, cost, and on-time supply.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 25 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the food or bakery industry.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/Tally software with good documentation skills.
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detai
