Role & responsibilities

- Plan and conduct Physical Education classes as per the school curriculum.
- Develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, coordination, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor sports activities.
- Train students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level sports competitions.
- Conduct fitness assessments and monitor students' physical development.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and inventory of sports equipment.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety during sports and physical activities.
- Organize annual sports day, athletic meets, tournaments, and other sports events.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and wellness programs.
- Maintain attendance, performance records, and reports related to physical education activities.
- Collaborate with school staff and communicate with parents regarding students' progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and other school activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) Mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) – Preferred.
- Relevant coaching certifications are an added advantage.
