About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking an experienced Head, Design & Tendering to lead and manage offshore tendering and engineering operations supporting our Saudi Arabia business. The role is responsible for driving tender strategies, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing commercial and contractual aspects, and ensuring successful submission of high-value EPC bids across Power, T&D;, Infrastructure, Water, and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Tendering & Engineering team across Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and multidisciplinary functions.
- Review and finalize technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.
- Drive bid strategy, risk assessment, pricing, and commercial evaluations.




- Lead techno-commercial discussions with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation of engineering deliverables including layouts, SLDs, P&IDs;, PFDs, and basic designs.
- Oversee estimation, cost analysis, procurement support, and bid compliance activities.
- Present bid strategies, risk registers, and commercial recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate closely with KSA Tendering, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Execution teams.
