Role & responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer the OpenText Content Server platform, including

system provisioning, clustering, and performance tuning.

- Set up and manage Archive Center (Archive Server / OTAC) for content storage,

archiving policies, and storage tiering.

- Configure and maintain Directory Services integration (LDAP / Active Directory / Azure

AD) for user synchronization, authentication, and single sign-on.

- Establish security models, permission structures, and access control across the

platform.

Document Migration

- Plan and execute content migration from the legacy OpenText platform into the target

xECM environment.

- Define migration strategy, including content and metadata mapping, folder/workspace

structure, and version history retention.

- Address legacy-specific considerations such as category/attribute remapping,

classification, permissions, and archive references.

- Use OpenText migration tooling and bulk-loading utilities to ensure data integrity,

completeness, and auditability.

- Conduct reconciliation and validation between source and target systems.

Integration with SAP & Business Applications





- Design and implement xECM for SAP integration, including Business Workspaces and

ArchiveLink.

- Configure integration with SAP S/4HANA business objects and processes.
- Integrate xECM with other business applications (e.g., Salesforce, SuccessFactors,

Microsoft 365) via connectors and REST APIs.

- Embed content into business processes through Smart UI / Fiori interfaces.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience administering OpenText Content Server and Archive Center.
- Robust knowledge of xECM for SAP, ArchiveLink, and Business Workspace

configuration.

- Experience with directory services, authentication protocols, and SSO.
- Proven track record in OpenText-to-OpenText migration projects.

- Understanding of SAP integration architecture (BOR objects, ArchiveLink).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, WebReports, and Smart UI development.

Preferred Qualifications

- OpenText certifications (Content Server, xECM).
- Exposure to AI-driven content services and Intelligent Capture.
