QSR Restaurant Manager Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and productive service.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve operational and customer service goals.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to maintain brand consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food and operational waste.
- Control labor costs, food costs, and other operating expenses to meet profitability targets.
- Monitor daily sales, prepare operational reports, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure accurate cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day financial reconciliation.
- Implement company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of products and materials.




- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, equipment functionality, and overall facility standards.
- Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
- Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels during peak business hours.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and compliance with workplace policies.
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety and security.
- Support the achievement of monthly sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
